Japanese Asian Warrior. This work started out from a photo that I took in Japan. I then worked it in Photoshop next I downloaded it into my Ipad Pro Where I utilized a few apps to create the texture and I used the apple pencil to draw in some of the lines and to color. I really enjoy all the new tools we have available to create new and unusual art.
Mark was born in Akron, Ohio on September 8th, 1963. His interest in photography began at a very early age. He enjoys the starkness of working with black and white spending hours in dark rooms perfecting his craft. He took that initial knowledge using it as a springboard to what his work has become today. Mark credits his artistic inspiration from his parents John and Ruth Dunn and his husband Russ Smith. Professionally his influences have been from Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Peter Max.
